Description
Coconut sugar is one of the oldest sweeteners in the Indo- nesian archipelago, made from pure coconut (Cocos nucifera) blossom nectar. Coconut trees can produce sugar for up to 50 years, making it one of the most sustainable sugar sources on the planet. To tap the coconut blossom nectar, you’ll need a specific craft skill that not all locations with coconut trees can perfect. Our coconut sugar is sourced from Central Java (Banyumas, Purbalingga, Cilacap, and adjacent areas), which is known as Indonesia’s coconut sugar capital. To ensure we can give the best in terms of flavor, quality, and food safety standards, we blended the traditional hand-cooked method with contemporary sorting and drying processes.
